Live Unchained is an arts initiative that showcases the inspiring, empowering and diverse works of black women artists and writers from around the world. We feature their work in Live Unchained art exhibits, film screenings performances and discussions. Our goal is to develop a collection of these astounding audio, written and visual creations in the form of a book with a DVD and CD insert. To be featured in the Live Unchained anthology or blog, please e-mail submissions and inquiries to liveunchained@gmail.com with the subject line: Submission. You can also learn more about us at our website  www.liveunchained.com.

It is important to note that for women to Live Unchained, they must be allowed to simply, live.  For many black women across the globe, this basic entitlement is threatened on a daily basis.  As Live Unchained  grows, we will continue to seek ways to promote projects that enhance or create social, economic and political opportunities for women as well as their family and community members.  If you are part of an organization or initiative that does this and would like to be included on our upcoming links page and/or are interested in collaboration, please contact us at liveunchained@gmail.com.

All submissions or questions can be sent to liveunchained@gmail.com.
